Brussels, January 2023 - A collective work by the Bio-based Industries Consortium (BIC), the BBI-JU advisory bodies, the European Bioeconomy Alliance (EUBA), the European Agricultural Machinery Industry (CEMA), Cefic and the European technology Platforms "Food for Life" and "SusChem", resulted in the publication of a Vision for a circular bio-society in 2050. It identifies 4 key drivers - food security, planet sustainability, jobs and growth, synergies and connectivity - and how to leverage them to achieve the vision.
